Disclosure Statement

My primary passion in writing this blog is to provide awesome content and recipes about cooking from scratch.  However, in order to keep this blog up and running, I do place advertisements on the site, work with brands, and use affiliate marketing.  Here is a little bit of what that means in layman’s terms.

This is a personal blog written by Amanda Spackman.  Betty is a nickname for the blog and is not my real name.  If you have any questions related to the content or writing of this blog, please contact amanda@callmebetty.com

This blog uses affiliate marketing. This means that if you make a purchase from many of the links on this site, that I will receive a small commission on this purchase, at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you.

Call Me Betty is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

Because I value my readers, I am very selective about brands that I work with, and it will be clear if I was paid by a brand to create content.  I will never work with a brand that I don’t love and use on a regular basis, and all opinions are my own.  I strive to find brands that work with the type of content that I like to create and will do my best not to create distracting content with sponsored posts.

All advertisements are determined by a 3rd party ad network and will not affect the content of this blog.

While I am a Registered Dietitian, and thus a professional, advice given on this blog is for informational/entertainment purposes only.  Articles that appear on this blog may offer general nutritional advice, but should never replace any recommendation given by your doctor or other medical professional who is working with your specific case and needs. Also, bear in mind, that because this is a personal blog, there may be recipes and cooking techniques that I would not recommend to clients with certain conditions.    Consult a doctor or other medical professional before making major dietary changes that could impact your health.
